Right to prevention and protection from disaster and climate change and assistance in emergencies

1. Implementation of Child Centered DRR and safe school 

2. Support Implementation of Child and youth led CCA measures and community level climate change adoptation mechanisms 

Right to Safe water and improved Sanitation

Plan International Bangladesh will focus on  1. strenghtening capacity of stakeholders including local government on Community Led Total Sanitation(CLTS) and School Led Total Sanitation(SLTS) approaches 2. Facilitating LGIs and WASH Committees on community mobilization, creating awareness and monitoring the WASH progress at communities, schools and health facilities 3. Sensitizing all stakeholders specially the LGIs for promoting inclusive WASH 4. Promotion of good hygiene practicess at community and health centeres specially by the health workers, adolescents, gilrs and mothers 5. promotion of gender sensitive and child WASH facilities and hygiene practices at school  6. Engaging private sector actors in quality WASH services deliveries7. Facilitating communities and health centers to install and use of disater resilient technologies including appropriate process for water management. 8. Networking with water and Sanitation sectoral stakeholders at the national and local level for effcetive coordination to implement the govenment WASH sector development plan(SDP) policies and stratgies and advocacy to scale up the good practices.  

Right to Protection

1. Building Capacity of Community Based Child Protection Mechanism(CBCPM) members on leadership, communication, advocacy and case management 2. Strenghtening capacity of communities, judicial, police and local government on child protection nad other laws related to children 3. Increasing awareness of families and communities on their roles to reduce stigma towards violence survivors and facilitation of young women leadership in arbitration process 4. Developing children's resilience and their capacity to participate in their own protection and building alliances and networks to support chioldren and their families. 

Right to Education

1. Strong Community out reach of Pre-primary Education to tackle exclusion and minimize inclusion challenges through community led early learning support system. 2. Practical inclusion strategies for primary school that include accessibility, empowering teachers and supervisors on inclusive pedagogy, quality mentoring engagement of community and children and inclusive acdemic and non-academic activities. 3. Working with mainstream school to design and demonstrate girl friendly schools that support students specially girls to continue secondary education. 4. Evidenvce based advocacy to extend the approach through govenment system. 

Rights to Health:

Plan will focus on young people so that those who get married dealy early pregnency by i). stengthening gender responsive services to maternal, new born, child health and nutration ii) Community mobilization, advocacy and capacity building, specially for women and adolescent girls resulting in gender responsive health, hygiene and sanitation services. iii) Strenghtening parenting for young children by integrating ECCD progamming iv) Capacity building of Young people on CSE to demand and access SRH services and information v) Strenghtening capacity of CSOs and CBOs for advocating and facilitating SRHR of young people.
